Take extra precaution in a potentially unsafe location… whether it’s a dimly lit street, an unfamiliar neighborhood, or a deserted parking lot — by pressing the “Hold Until Safe” button. If the button is released — and you don’t enter your PIN within 30 seconds — Emergency Services will be alerted and dispatched to your phone's location.
Maybe you’re going on a first date. Or working the night shift. Aster’s scheduling system lets you connect your mobile phone calendar to Aster and share select events with friends and family (followers). If you don't check in on the app after your scheduled event, the “Follow Me” feature will notify your followers to reach out and confirm you’re okay.

The text notification will include a link to a Google Map with the GPS location of your smartphone; they’ll also be asked to reach out to you to confirm that you’re safe. If you create a scheduled event your followers will receive a message you can customize, for each individual event, (as shown).
Choose to add different followers for any different scheduled event, if you like.
After Emergency Services are contacted, you will have 30 seconds to enter your pin, which confirms you are safe. If the correct PIN is not successfully entered, Emergency Services will be dispatched to the location indicated by the GPS location on your phone.
